chosen courier being changed on all simple delivery items already listed

Hi

I have a large item over 61cm so can't use royal mail as I would normally  do.

When starting a new listing I changed the courier to Evri and excluded Royal Mail because they will do  larger size parcels

A message comes up

"Changes will be applied to all active Simple Delivery listings. "

This changed all my already listed items

Anybody have any ideas on how to stop this from happening

Make sure it hasn't defaulted to include RM on here:

Depending on the category/sub category you may be able to opt out of Simple Delivery altogether and buy your own postage.  After selecting category and entering details and item title scroll down and click on the box under the heading Package Size.   At the very bottom of the pop-up you should see:
Oversized/ .... Simple Delivery is unavailable for this item
Then click on Add Primary Service to buy your own postage.   You may have to explore other categories to get that.

You can't have a different carrier for some items, it's all or nothing with simple delivery you can exclude carriers but as the message shows this affects all your other listings.

As said depending on the item you may be able to list in another category and not have to use simple delivery.

Can you list a item in category different to what it is ?

IE  I'm trying to list a large slot car set  

I have set the category to Garden & Patio Furniture

And it  lets me  set my own postage size
