buyer asked to delay posting

Buyer paid for item  but on payment page  they asked that I delay posting to them until they returned from holiday  which is about 1 week , I agreed to do that . I am meant to post within 1 working day ,which I always do. Will I now be marked as late postage ? Thank you

Yes.   It would be better to cancel/refund (with buyer's agreement) and relist nearer the time for them to buy again.

Unofficially, with buyers agreement just mark as dispatched. Explain why you need to do it this way to avoid late dispatch defect.

Personally I would not add that to listings,  it just seems a ' condition' the seller expects,  but that a buyer may not even have thought of ,  to ask. 

I have only just stopped selling but in 14 years, I was only asked twice to delay posting,  it's not a common ask to add your ' clause' in listings,  in my humble opinion.🤗

Hi thanks, I will contact buyer to get agreement, what about tracking number ,will it be ok to mark as dispatched now and then add tracking number when I do send item, or just not add any tracking number ?
