are you allowed to say on your post you're selling uk stock, when you are actually not in the uk?

I have discovered an item I would like to buy, and the picture of the item has the words 'UK seller stock' clearly marked at the top of it.

But the Seller location is listed as China.

Is this really allowed?

Some Chinese sellers have distribution centres in the UK.   As long as they ship from that address that's OK.   Obviously if the goods come from China that is not allowed.   You should be able to tell by the delivery times.

At the top of the listing there's a location field (it's by the price and postage). That's where your item should be shipped from.

Your seller may have a UK fulfilment centre, most of the Chinese sellers have.
