advice cancelling a Pre paid label

 can anyone help please

I have sold and item that was issued a prepaid label, this couldnt be printed as DHL said the address was incomplete, as the purchaser lives half an hour away I delivered it in person.

I now don't need the label and can't book it as posted?

If you delivered it in person,  there is no way to mark it as dispatched, because there is no collection code to scan,  and no tracking to enter.

You may need to wait a minimum of 14 days for your payout to be released.

For the unused label if purchased through Simple Delivery:

• If you selected 'Buyer pays’ when you created the listing, your buyer will automatically be refunded for any Simple Delivery label that isn’t used after 30 days

• If you selected ‘Seller pays’ and offered free postage on your listing, you'll need to fill out the Request a refund for Simple Delivery form for the label that wasn’t used. Make sure to send your request within 14 days of your item selling.  Also ensure you add the replacement tracking number of the service used, and it shows delivery.

It should be marked as dispatched if you generated the original label but it won't show as delivered because you have no tracking number for it.   All being well the payment will be released anyway afer 14 days.

If you paid for the original label (ie. you had free postage on your listing) you can cancel it here:

but you cannot get a refund for it as you didn't send using trackable postage.

If the buyer paid for the label (if the cost was displayed on the listing that means the buyer paid) it will be automatically refunded to them in 30 days.
