account restriction

I posted a listing & wasn't taken through the selling fee process so didn't pay a selling fee. my account was then restricted but when i go to the message telling me how to resolve the problem and get my account unrestricted it sends me to the contact & help centre which just tells me to go back to my messages? i have now added my card to my account to try and pay the outstanding selling fee however it doesn't give me anywhere on my account to make this payment. Can anyone please help as im getting very frustrated. thanks.

account restriction

This is a brand new account,  if it has been opened because there is a restriction on your original account, you will not be able to use either account until  that fee has been paid.

 

Or,  have you not fully registered with eBay's Managed Payments.  All sellers need to register,  to be able to list items for sale and receive payments for those sales.

 

You need to provide eBay with details of a bank account and have this account verified.  The usual method here, is for eBay to send 2 micro deposits into that nominated bank account for you to receive,  and confirm to eBay.

Once this is completed,  you will be able to list items for sale,  and receive payouts from those sales.

If there is an issue with the registration contact eBay Customer Services,  who have full access to your account,  and can see where the issue lies and explain the steps you now need to take.

I recommend contacting CS first thing in the morning as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

 

However,  if this is an outstanding fee on another account this needs settling contact CS as above to pay that fee,  as opening a new account will not circumvent any restriction on your original account.
