Yodel store refusing parcel due to size

Hi. I have had issues sending a parcel at a yodel store and the parcel is within the 120x50x50 limit and they have said they will only accept a parcel up to the size of crisp box. Has anyone else had this issue?

Others have had same issue. 

Problem is that a lot of yodel drop off points are small shops and haven't got much room.
