Wrong tracking number for buyer

Hi. I printed off a postage label for a customer and it says Royal Mail on it. I thought nothing of it but apparently it's yodel that the customer wants. I gave up in the end and paid to send it via Royal Mail. Now the customer has the wrong tracking number on the screen. How can I amend this? I have sent it tracked but I'd like to see if its been delivered on eBay. I have never had this problem before which is why I gave up and sent it a different way. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

There should be an Edit Tracking link next to the item on your sold list.    It may be via a dropdown menu.

Wrong tracking number for buyer

You had Yodel as the carrier on your listing and that is who you should have chosen when printing the label,if you chose Royal Mail and used the printed label that is the tracking number the buyer will see or did you not use the printed label and just send with RM?
