I’ve recently sold goods and had a message from the buyer to state he has received goods, however Royal Mail and the tracking number states still awaiting delivery , basically they haven’t a clue as the buyer has received .

how or can I receive the payment which is on hold ?

If the tracking is showing delivered on RM's website you can contact ebay to get the money released.    You can request a callback on here:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/eua?id=5275&mkevt=1&mkpid

 

If it's not showing delivered you will have to wait 14 days for the money to be released.   The other thing is ebay may class you as a new seller, in which case the money could be held anyway for up to 30 days.

Tacking is shown as pending ,the buyer messaged me to say that he has received goods .Royal Mail at fault.
