Why have I been charged a transaction fee for an item sold to a U K address ?

I have recently sold an item which on the postage label was via Global shipping to an UK address -why have I been charged a transaction fee ?

The UK address will be Ebay's GSP hub.  They then send the item overseas.

As your customer is overseas there is an international transaction fee.
