Who Pays for Shipping Packaging when the buyer has paid for a postage label ?

Hi, one buyer has just bought two of my items, which both had £2.70 postage each, but under the new shipping arrangements, the buyer has elected to pay for their own combined shipping label with via Evir. I have no issue with them paying for the shipping label, but I appear to be left standing the cost of the shipping materials ! So my question is, who pays for the shipping and packaging materials for purchases, if the buyer pays for their own shipping label(s) now ? Cos it looks like its me that's just been stiffed by the new shipping arrangements.  Advice please ??

You have to pay.

For me, as a seller of low cost items, that is one of the issues of Simple Delivery.  Previously, you were able to make a small charge, included in the postage cost, to cover the cost of a padded envelope, bubble wrap and tape etc.

Now, that is not possible and private sellers have to stand the cost of any packaging they use.

Personally, I am not using Simple Delivery until I absolutely have to.

Under simple delivery, you don't get postage cost,

you get link or QR code to download the postage label.

so not possible to combine P&P.

If you part refund, it will from your money.
