Hi is there a way to check for sellers choice of postage service. I can’t see it on any listing. In the last 2 months every single buy has been lost by Evri. Instead of messaging every seller is there a way I can weed out those using Evri. My last purchase I requested that they use Royal Mail and they said they couldn’t change from Evri. Thanks if any one can enlighten me.

Business sellers do usually state what carrier they are using and private sellers who list items that are not eligible for Ebay's Simple Delivery specify on the listing how the item will be posted.
However, private sellers who use Ebay Simple Delivery will mainly use Evri and Royal Mail and will generally not know how the item will be sent until it has been sold and Ebay supply the label.
So, buy from business sellers and avoid those who use Evri.

There's no way to be certain with sales from private sellers using simple delivery as they may use Royal Mail or Evri or both, you can get a rough idea from the pricing table and express deliveries are generally Royal Mail, but no guarantee.
As said if a seller has selected to use both carriers even they don't know who eBay will provide the label for until the item sells.

Thank you. Really appreciate your time to explain this to me. I found it hard to believe that the seller couldn’t pick the courier but it seems that is so. After more than 20 years on eBay as a buyer this non delivery by Evri is moving me to another platform. And no person to talk to, all automated responses except on here. Many thanks.
