Verified sellers

Hi can anyone tell me if there are any verified sellers on here, I'm new to eBay and keep getting useless rubbish sent to me which is not what is advertised in the description and in the photos of the items I buy . I check the ratings but they are very misleading. It's putting me off buying from here.

What are the items you are buying?  Would they by chance be from Chinese sellers?  Even though the item's location may state UK,  the only way to find where the seller is registered,  is to click on their feedback,  to bring up their feedback profile and that shows country of registration.

Another tip before buying,  is to check out the seller' s feedback, see how other buyers have judged the sellers' items for sale.

Familiarise yourself with eBay's 30 day MBG,  Money Back Guarantee policy, link below, and it's also written on every listing on the right hand side.

Ordering but it can be false positives i.e same comment added over and over again to boost %. I'm really not liking the eBay experience

True,  eBay is not for everyone, but I suppose it depends on what you are buying, and if it can be bought elsewhere for less hassle.

For collectors it can be a goldmine, to  perhaps find that one ' must have item' !  🤗

If you had read the user agreement you would know that eBay does not verify either sellers or items for sale here.

eBay makes it clear that they do not review listings or their content, which are the entire responsibility of the seller. eBay does however provides a strong money back guarantee if an item is not delivered or is not as described. Although it only works for 30 days.

Most importantly, eBay even warns buyers in the user agreement that "they do not guarantee the existence, quality, safety or legality of items advertised, or the truth or accuracy of descriptions".

Would you buy from a shop that stated this? It was your choice to accept the risks. eBay is a jungle.

I did read what I could manage of the user agreement but I'm long term sick ATM and I'm having trouble reading because of it. Thank you for pointing that out to me, I'm glad eBay has our backs.

I've found a few goldmine items, at least eBay has our backs, used to use a well known company but got sick of there expensive prices plus delivery drivers were a nightmare. eBay is way better and cheaper, guesss will have to be more vigilant. Thank you for your help.
