Vat.saw this on the bottom of an invoice,

Have ordered an item!but saw on the bottom of the invoice plus vat,was under the impression this item was in the UK,so what happens if I refuse to pay vat on this item when it arrives,can the seller take from my account or cause other problems

Could you please screenshot the invoice?

There are lots of reasons why VAT might be payable on all or part of your purchase.

Also, VAT on an invoice is payable on  checkout.
