Looking through the community i see nothing but problems with ebay and them being very slow to sort problems, or other problems that could cause me time and more problems.
I have a very rare record collection of twenty records that were not for resale and have other song that were not released on the bside all Frank Sinatra 10" 78's Making myself or the person that buys this collection the No1 connoisseur of this genre. I have had evaluations of 100k.
Should i use Ebay promotions to sell internationally ? How do you prevent scammers ?
Do i need to up my selling limit i'm not a shop just a private individual. i think limit even if upd is only 40k
Is it better to selling thorough normal auctions like Ewbank Auctions that know what they are doing and have dealt with very rare items like this before ?
Has anyone else had good experience selling items like this through ebay promotions internationally ?
Thanking you all beforehand for your comments

I can only suggest you use a 'bricks and mortar' auction house.
There is no way to prevent scammers and, if you are hoping for an international sale, that could be especially problematic.
Have you considered how you could insure such a valuable collection if posting in the UK or overseas?
If an overseas seller bought the items, then decided they were not as described in the listing, you would have to negotiate and pay for their return.
I would hand them to a specialist auction house to handle the sale and deal with all the stress.

Adding to the brilliant advice from @jckl1957 be aware, you will only generally read bad news on this forum re eBay and it's workings.
It's a forum whereby peeps come to ask questions and vent anger on various aspects of eBay, rarely will you see a positive post, but that's not to say selling on eBay is All bad. This forum doesn't present a correct view of eBay.
However!
I would go along with the previous suggestion, that is, to use an auction house, preferably one selling in that specific ( fabulous 😊 ) genre your item falls into.
I'm also of the firm belief, only list items on eBay you can afford to, and be happy to.... lose. 😐

You have zero feedback as a seller, so I doubt whether eBay would even let you list this £100k collection.
That would be a good thing, as you clearly have no idea of the risks involved. If you had, you wouldn't be thinking about selling it here. eBay is a jungle.
You would be wiser to use an established auction house, preferably one that specalises in the sale of high-end records.

What they all said ^^^^^
There's a very old but true saying on ebay and these boards: If you can't afford to lose it don't try to sell it.
Which are very wise words.
