Used my own shipping label , now I can't update Tracking

 I had to return a £450 Coffee machine because it was faulty. 

I couldn't get to a Parcelforce drop off , so I bought my own Parcelforce shipping label so they'd collect the item.

 

The item has been delivered back to the seller who is completely ignoring me! I'm worried, because I didn't use eBays tracking number; The return is still on, ' Please send your item'.

I cannot update the tracking number, it gives you an eBay one and that's it. You can't put the actual one in if you don't want to use their service? So I sent a screenshot of the delivery confirmation to the seller. Still ignoring me.

It's a lot of money and if he doesn't check his messages. The return status still basically says I got a label emailed to me but never sent it , so I can't update it.

Will eBay step in or is there a way to add my tracking information so the return updates??

I just find it annoying that we can't put our own tracking details in the system. Especially since I'm using the same company as the label they sent!

Idk...I'm kinda worried because this seller has iffy feedback and is completely ignoring my messages!!

Using a PC / laptop and Chrome you should be able to change that tracking number to the one used,  if not contact eBay Customer Services they will do this for you.

 

This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

I recommend contacting CS first thing in the morning as there's more chance of Dublin answering.
