Upgrade my personal account to a business, or close my personal and open a new business account?

I am wondering what the pro's and con's are of either upgrading my personal account to a business seller or scrapping my personal account all together and start a fresh with a new business account.

I am thinking of getting the shop above the basic one(250 free fixed listings/100 free auctions per month)

If I upgrade will I lose all my listings?

If I don't lose all my listings and they transfer over, will I be initially charged 10p for every listing I have above the 250?(I have about 600 listings atm)

Any help would be appreciated.

If you upgrade, which is what I would recommend, you don't lose your listings.  I suspect, but I am not sure, that you would be charged for any live listings over the shop allowance.

Better to upgrade this account to business one, 

That way you still retain listings and feedback. 

You can open a new private account for your personal unwanted items.

Thanks papso22...the last thing I want is to upgrade and then be charged £35+ just for transferring listings, whilst also incurring the shop fee and the never ending ebay fees

You Don't have a choice about business account, 

You are buying to sell,  it is the law you trade correctly.

Understood..my OP doesn't stray from this, my only question was the wether I update or start again

If I can upgrade, pay the shop fee, keep all my listings and still get the first months free 250FPL/100AUC then its a no brainer.

I just don't want to upgrade and then have to pay extra for my listings just for changing account type
