I have sold various things and for the first time dealing with eBay’s new postage system. As I understand it it offers buyers a choice of how they want things sent. And then I have to get them sent as directed. So buyers have chosen Evri. I was directed to a shop about half a mile away. When I got there I was told they will only accept small parcels so wouldn’t let me post them. They also said they know nothing about other shops so could not direct me to somewhere I could take them. I tried to contact Evri but their chat bot is so poor it cannot understand the query and I don’t seem to be able to speak to a human. I could travel around from place to place seeing if anyone will take them. But having sold them only yesterday eBay insists they need to be sent by tomorrow. And I

You might have to cancel with buyer's agreement, opt out of using Evri then relist for them to buy again.

Thanks peaseblossom I will opt out once I have got these items sent. To be honest I think I am going to opt out of eBay. I just don’t need the hassle. But I want to get these things sent first. Anyone know how to figure out places that accept parcel sized parcels.

Some shops have limited space, so not unusual to refuse large parcels.
Ebay/Evri won't know which shops accept them or not.

Well yes that appears to be true, but not at all helpful. How on earth do I get them posted. This new system is a nightmare ☹️
