ebay telling lies

I listed an item using the words "Dorman Barlite Rotating Beacon".

Ebay sent me an email stating I used the words "Emergency Police Siren rotating lights".

I am at a total loss to understand how ebay can lie to me using words I did NOT use.

The only common word is "rotating".

Please read this question carefully and only answer what I asked.

Thank you.

ebay telling lies

I know it is an ebay member forum. I am hoping some member can explain how ebay can say a  what they said in their email to me which is very different to  the words I used in the listing.

Ebay refuses to discuss the matter any further with me. However. I can ask a court to rule on their statements.

Only eBay could provide you with an answer.

I doubt whether it's a "lie". Your rotating beacons, although presumably intended for service vehicles, are much the same as the rotating blue lights used by the emergency services. The sale of these is no doubt prohibited.

eBay's so-called AI has probably just changed your own wording to the wording in its memory that it thinks describes what you're selling. Decisions on eBay are increasingly being made by robots.
