I've attempted to list an item that was immediately flagged for 'This listing violates our Offering to Buy or Sell Outside of eBay Policy. It's hidden until you can fix it.'
What i think it's flagged up is that i had put the URL in the description for it on Amazon (the item is discontinued so can't be bought from amazon anyway), so for an interested party can read all the details of the item. But i appealed it, saying i wasn't aware what the problem was (i realise now what has likely been flagged). But that was on Sunday (1st of March) it's now almost a week later and i've had no response. The listing is now sitting in limbo, i'm unable to revise the listing or comment further via the appeal.
Am i best to just re-write the listing then list it that way? I don't even know how i can view the appeal, if it's been reviewed or what is happening.

Annoyingly, i went through and relisted the item. Only for eBay to clear the blocked listing as i had finished listing the revised version. Fun!
It's however now resolved.

If you are absolutely sure you have identified the violation, (which is almost certainly the URL), then you can start a brand new listing without that bit.
Appeals only work if ebay gets something wrong, in this case you did, intentionally or otherwise, so you won't get the decision overturned.

Well it's the only reason i can think of. There's nothing else in the description that points to anywhere outside of eBay.
Annoyingly i can't edit the listing, when i go to 'Resolve Violation' all the options are greyed out.
