URGENT HELP⚠️

Hi all, I really need advice and possibly help reporting this.

• I sold an iPhone on eBay and posted it on 28th July via Evri.
• The buyer is now claiming the screen is damaged.
• But here’s the weird part: Evri tracking STILL shows “not delivered”, and eBay says I haven’t even posted the item.
• The buyer’s account was created the exact same day they bought my iPhone, which seems like a red flag 🚩.
• The item was well-packaged and not damaged when sent. I even have photos of the phone before shipping.
• The buyer is saying Evri damaged it, but if Evri hasn’t confirmed delivery, how did the buyer receive it?
• I haven’t been able to mark it as dispatched yet on eBay, and now I’m scared I’ll lose my money and my phone.

I’ve contacted Evri and will add tracking to eBay ASAP, but it feels like I’m stuck in a scam — no delivery confirmation, but the buyer suddenly has it and says it’s broken?

It is very strange that the phone is not showing as posted.

The phone was listed with Simple Delivery.

This is the service where Ebay provide a label and you print and use it.

Did you use the Ebay Simple delivery label or did you buy a label independently - either through Ebay or from the carrier?

Your response to that will have a big effect on any advice you can be given, so it is important.
