Two factor to land line not working.

Hi, asking for a friend who cannot login as the two factor is not being sent to the landline. Anyone know any issues with land line via two factor?

This was asked on an ebay chat many moons ago now,and no updates have been sent about it.

As said you seem to need a mobile device these days to get the codes,even a cheap one can suffice.

up unti last week commencing 15th April the SMS was being sent to te landline. But now it's no longer working.

Hi @sjt369 

Landlines were an option when we rolled out two factor but there were issues with some providers not forwarding or reading out text messages so it was removed. 

I'm guessing its been active on your account since then. I don't think its possible to reactivate it but Ive asked the site team if there's anything we can do.

Thanks Dave. While you ask the team who do we contact to resolve that we can't login to the account due to the two factor not working? The number needs changing to a mobile rather than the landline.
