I’m reaching out to share my frustration and hopefully find a solution regarding the most recent eBay app update, which has made managing my account much more difficult.
I use the eBay app on my iPhone to receive notifications and manage orders, and I use my MacBook to print shipping labels. However, since the last update (about a week ago), I’ve stopped receiving notifications on my phone — no sound, no alert, nothing.
In the past three days, I’ve had to update my security details four times, because each time I log in from my phone, I’m asked to verify again to access my account on the computer. Then, when I switch back to the computer, I’m asked to verify through the phone again.
⚠️ My email and password remain the same, but I’m being forced to verify every single time. It’s exhausting and inefficient — especially for sellers who need to act fast.
Unfortunately, there’s no clear option for technical support in the Help section.
This morning I shipped an item late because I didn’t receive the usual purchase notification on my phone — and that’s incredibly frustrating.
Can someone from the community or eBay staff point me in the right direction for technical help?
Any advice or workaround would be much appreciated.
