Tracking/postage/shipping

Can I ask why ebay doesn't give you the option to enter a tracking number for the buyer to see, seller to use for himself and why ebay keeps the postage cost from final payment earned when it still costs seller money to post off an item or items. This is not acceptable in my opinion, I'm a disabled man and can't get to the nearest Evri drop off point for items to get shipped out to buyer ?? .. there's no option to add tracking number if I've not used ebay postage label but ebay still deducts the money from final payment to seller, this is not fair at all ??

Since April, Ebay have been rolling out Simple Delivery which is now mandatory for private sellers for most categories.

You won't get the postage back because the buyer pays Ebay directly for the postage. If you don't use the label, the buyer gets a refund, not you.  You should be able to change the tracking from the dropdown menu.

You can opt to use Royal Mail only (DHL for large items) and arrange collection for your parcels.

if you plan to continue selling, do read about how Simple Delivery works.  Follow the links and read all the FAQs to see if/how you can adapt Simple Delivery to your sales and circumstances.
