I am getting fed out would be in pushed for one side of eBay to another to get some answers which I don't get I have paid nearly 600 pound for an invisible parcel and still getting no answers this person who had this item up for sale was just a picture on eBay and can't me out of my money if I don't get some proper answers I will go to the police thank you

It would help us to help you if you could let us have more factual information. 

When did you buy this item, and how did you pay? Exact dates are important on eBay!

Is the seller a private seller or a business seller? Are they registered in the UK or abroad?

Don't count on the police getting involved. Not receiving something you paid for doesn't make it a crime. There are exceptions, but they're rare. It's usually just a breach of contract, nothing to do with the police. You need to try to resolve this through eBay or PayPal buyer protection schemes, if possible.

We can help you, there is a way to get your money back, but you need to respond to our questions with some information.

Is it now past the estimated delivery date showing on your order?

If so, have you opened an eBay item not received claim?

Is the claim still open?

Because you have told us so little, everyone who is trying to help is having to guess what happened.

You said it was an 'invisible parcel'.

Do you mean that your camera was marked as being delivered but you never got it?

For such an expensive item, the sender should have used a service that needed a signature and there will be tracking that you can check.

If the tracking shows the parcel was delivered but not to your address, you are still in time to open a case through Paypal.

They will help you if you have evidence that your camera was not delivered to you.

I keep repeating my self over this issue I was told it was delivered on the 20th of June I picked it up from the shop it was delivered to the so-called parcel was a package with a Chinese disposable mask there was no camera in sight I have heard nothing from the seller when I reported it on the Monday of the 23rd of June the same day I picked it up

You received something so cannot win a not received case.

You open a NOT AS DESCRIBED CASE, seller provides a return label, and on return refunds in full. If not you escalate to ebay.

When you get the refund, you then contact paypal and arrange to repay early.

There was no return label there was no camera in a 10 by 6 envelope the cellar was fictitious I have tried to stop the payment to the fictitious seller through PayPal with no luck I am getting no real help from you and I am getting no help from PayPal

'We' are members like you, trying to help you based on very little information. 

You get your return label by opening a case through ebay, using the money back guarantee,  it seems you didn't do that. 

You can open a case for item not as described through PayPal as well, but if you do that you can't then open a case with ebay and any open ebay case will close.

 Both ebay and PayPal have strict time limits for these cases, 30 days from delivery for ebay and 30 days from payment for PayPal. 

There is no reason why either organisation won't help with the right case opened in time.

You need to start a return case.

To request a return, select the item you want to send back from your recent purchases above, or use the button below. You can also start a return request from your Purchases in My eBay.

Choose the reason 'received the wrong item'.

Don't message the seller.  if they don't respond to the case within 3 days, you can ask Ebay to step in.

You're not, you didn't post this information prior to posting it in the above post I've quoted.

With respect, you must surely query why we keep asking questions and why you keep getting annoyed by it.

It's because we need factual answers. 

We now know that the 'invisible parcel' you're talking about is a package received by you that contains something other than the camera you bought. This gives the seller a tracking number showing delivery so you need to open an item not as described claim.

Have you opened an eBay item not as described return yet and selected the 'Received wrong item' reason?

No, you don't - you keep drip feeding bits of information.

Your question could have been answered in minutes if f you had told us in the first place when and how you paid and when it was delivered - and most importantly that all you received was a Chinese disposable mask but no camera.

This is a well known scam to get proof of deivery without sending the buyer theitem they paid for. Usually by sellers in China.

The remedy is simple - you open an "item not as described" case under eBay's money back guarantee and explain what you actually received. eBay is almost 100% sure to accept your word and make the seller refund you. You may however be required to return the face mask to the seller (that's just the way it works). If the seller is registered in the UK, or even if they're registered in China but the camera was claimed to be located in the UK, the seller will be required to send you a prepaid return label.

You need to open the case, and be sure to escalate it for eBay to step in if the seller hasn't responsed within three working days. If you run into any problems or are asked to pay for it to be returned to China please ask for advice here again. If you have to do this it would help also to let us know the item number. Good luck!

There is no point in sending it back to the seller unless you are doing so within an ebay or PayPal case where they will help you with the refund.

If not, you need to do this. 

If the seller doesn't send you a pre-paid returns label (there'll be a QR code on it that you can show the Post Office and they'll print the label), then after 3 business days you'll see an option to ask eBay to step in. Use this.

eBay will then issue you with a label or refund you.

Seller will have received full amount, they don't know how you paid.

I think it best to contact PayPal to sort,

But as said, by opening PayPal case, it will close ebay one.

Talk to PayPal 1st, they are quite helpful.

I doubt ebay will do anything now, PayPal is only hope,especially as they used PayPal credit.
