We have a few staff members within our business managing the day to day running of our eBay account, so we decided to set up Team Access for these staff members to bolster our security (so that if one of them left we didn't have to change the password for the main account). We have set up three staff members with their own ebay account which has Team Access to our business account and we have given them full permissions in our Team Access settings.
Whilst they can process orders and manage listings there area there are some actions not available to them. The first two are fundamental to day to day managing of the account, the second two are inconveniences:
- They cannot mark orders as despatched when there is no tracking number (we send out some small low value items second class royal mail)
- They cannot end listings
- They can no longer click through to a listing from a customer message
- The 'revise listing' and 'sell similar' buttons are no longer on the listing page
I have called eBay a few times and they repeatedly told me it was a permissions setting issue. On the third call I believe I managed to persuade them it wasn't and they have raised an IT ticket, but I'm not holding my breath.
I have only seen one other member raise this issue and the answer given was that permissions were not set correctly. But I feel this is a program developing issue with Team Access that needs to be solved
