Hi,
I'm incredibly frustrated! I bought six chairs, and after only two months, they're completely falling apart. The black "metal" cage holding the legs is disintegrating, rendering the chairs unusable. (See attached photo). I contacted the company, and they completely ignored me. eBay falsely promised a full refund, even though it was past 30 days, and nothing happened. The time wasted dealing with their lies and misinformation is infuriating. I was forced to file a claim with my bank, and I'm just hoping I win. This is unacceptable.
What would you suggest?
Thank you 😞

Ebay only allow 30 days buyer protection so your bank and a charge back for inferior goods would of been your next step.
If there a UK Company and you need more help, then contact your local citizens advice who can also put you through to trading standards.

You get plenty of time to leave feedback to warn others.
You have and stated how comfy they were!
Maybe try a follow up reply

Yes, but I realised the chairs were breaking after a bit more than two months.
and they are comfy… I it wasn’t that now you fall if you sit.
Since eBay and the seller are not hyping, i was trying to get actual help here.
I appreciate your comments but if you’re not helping, please do not respond.
i’ve had endless chats with the eBay customer service and nothing… so I’m a bit tired of explaining the situation for no reason.
thank you

You cannot report this to eBay as they do not offer warranties or guarantees on items, just that they are just as described on receipt. If they are not, a buyer has 30 days under eBay's 30 day MBG, Money Back Guarantee policy, to return the item for a full refund.
If you bought this from a Private seller you are too late to claim a refund. You can try your payment provider, they may help you with your refund.
If purchased from a registered UK business, who offered a guarantee and is now not upholding this, then turn to Citizens Advice for your next steps, if you wish to take this further.
