Swapped items, buyer refuses to return item

I have sold item A (£30) and item B (£20).

I accidentally swapped the items when I dispatched the items.

I contacted both buyers to return the items.

Buyer A has not responded, and buyer B insists on keeping the product.

In a way buyer B is getting the item A cheaper than the listed price. If I cancel the order, buyer B will get £20 refund and will keep item A for free.

Could you please advise what I could do in this situation?

Without cooperation of both buyers, you cannot do anything.

Both buyers should open NOT AS DESCRIBED CASES you provide return labels and on return refund in full.

Buyer A should be told to do this, Buyer B seems unwilling to cooperate.

The whole situation will be very expensive for you, and potential for bad feedback is high.

There is nothing that ebay can do, no one can force buyers to cooperate, but buyer A is likely to return at your expense for a refund, buyer B has got a bargain but no way to get item back.

Swapped items, buyer refuses to return item

Hi,

Thanks for your comment.

I've initiated contact with both of them so hopefully buyer A will eventually notice my message and be cooperative with the return process.

I think you're right - an expensive lesson for me...
