I sold a Brompton bike with a Swytch electric conversion tonight and I'm suspicious that the price paid seems too high to be genuine.
The buyer, who has paid ebay, appears to be a foreign national, has only had an ebay account for 3 months and only has one previous transaction.
Furthermore he lives 140 miles away and wants to collect it on Thursday when he claims he will be "in my area"
I'm suspicious about it, it sounds to good to be true, and if it sounds too good to be true then it usually is.
Am I protected by ebay if it is a sophisticated scam?
Thoughts anyone?
