Son has downloaded wrong currency voucher

My son has sold some items in a game and was asked how he wanted the cash, he said in Ebay vouchers, but he didn't change the currency from USD to Sterling. 

Is there any was these can be exchanged for Sterling or spent on EBay UK?

All sale [except vehicles] must be paid for through eBay checkout, then eBay pay the seller.

No.  Vouchers are not used in the UK.
