I sold an item but as I don't have a printer I paid for tracking using royal mail - and not the pre printed label created by ebay.

Buyer has confirmed he had received the parcel and he paid at point of sale but how long will it take for me to receive payment if I didn't use the Ebay created label?

Next time I'll know better.

You do not have to use eBay labels,  I never have,  just add any tracking to where you marked the item as dispatched.

If you can do so now,   add those numbers manually ,    Once tracking shows delivery payout is released 2 days after that delivery date.  You may need a PC / laptop with Chrome to do this.

If you cannot  change or add tracking,  you will need to wait 14 days for that payout to be released into your eBay Balance.

In future, until ebay changes everything again, when listing use the switch to ADVANCED POSTAGE.

You have to select it twice, but that allows you to be in command of postage.  I am never going to use simple postage, sellers are conned into not being able to charge for Post AND PACKING, which means it has to be included in cost of item, which increases ebay fee income by a few pence.  All “improvements” are for ebay’s benefit not for the benefit of buyer or seller.
