Hi I sold an item on Thursday it was paid for straight away to be picked up next week on Friday my account had the payment In it I transferred the money straight into my bank account my question is I thought that I would have to wait for the code from the buyer before I would be paid is that right
Yes. Not sure what happened. Looks like ebay slipped up.
Just had a look and it was sold with postage on it. So ebay wouldn't wait for collection code to transfer the money if the buyer didn't select collection.
I would still message the buyer to remind them to bring that code with them when collecting, as it is the only confirmation you'll have that the item was collected.
