Sold an item for delivery but buyer collected

Hi,

I listed a game without the option to collect, the buyer collected the item and I refunded him for postage. Now the item is stuck on "finds on hold" until it is posted. The buyer says he can't see an option for marking as collected. What is the best way to proceed? He has provided positive feedback.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

If you did not make the partial refund through eBay,  because there is a quirk in the system,  then you should be able to mark as ' dispatched' this way. It needs to be done on the Seller Hub here.

Go to Orders >> Awaiting Postage, click on the item then top left on View Order Details.

Far right from More Action drop down menu click on ' Mark as Dispatched' .  That used to be, and can be now eBay's wording for a collected item.
