Whats more simple than packing a parcel / writing an address and posting R,M.48 from a local POST OFFICE.
A SHAME AFTER MANY YEARS ON E BAY THAT ITS COME TO THIS .. another bright idea !!!
Hopefully someone in authority will step in and revert to the use of the "custom post" option.

I have used Simple Delivery.
I take the items to my local Post Office.
They are sent Royal Mail Tracked 48.
I print a label rather than writing the address.
The cost to my buyers is slightly lower so I add a small amount to the start price to cover packaging.
Small changes. No drama.

Again because you increase the price to cover “packaging” it means buyer paying a fraction more in “buyer protection” which all adds to ebay profits.

If I add 30p on to cover the cost of a padded envelope and bubble wrap. Ebay make a further 1p. Ebay is a business, and they need to make money.
I accept that if I want to keep selling on the site, I have to live with the changes.
My sales to date this year are a little over £1200. To a pensioner (which I am) that is a large sum for selling things I don't want any more. On balance, despite the changes, I have chosen to stick with Ebay and adapt rather than try and start again with a completely new site.
