Hi,
The buyer of my listed item selected Evri. Unfortunately I do not have the option to send it by Evri in my area, only Royal Mail/ Parcelforce. I went ahead and paid for a separate postage label from Parcelforce online and communicated immediately to the buyer with the tracking info included. I then tried to cancel the Evri prepaid 'SimpleDelivery' so that I don't pay postage twice but I found out it doesn't seem to apply to SimpleDelivery postage? This is the first time I have had this type of postage issue ever.
How can I please get a postage refund for the SimpleDelivery prepaid amount? I cannot cancel the order and ask the buyer to buy it again, as I already have paid and sent it by Parcelforce and I gave the buyer a better service courier. I just want the refund for the prepaid postage SimpleDelivery amount I never used.
Thank you!

First mark the item as dispatched by opening the original prepaid Simple Delivery label. It will remain unused.
Then add the new tracking number via View Order Details > Postage > Track Package > dropdown arrow > Add Tracking. That has to be done on a desktop browser.
After that if you paid for the SD label (would have had free postage on your listing) you can cancel it for a refund here:

If the buyer paid for it (the cost will have been displayed on the listing) it will be automatically refunded to them in 30 days.
You can opt out of using Evri here:
