I’m finding eBay selling consistently terrible and complicated to sell. The item I need to post is sent with either APC over night at £18. Or with ROYALMAIL special delivery at £22. These are the only 2 options I require. Yet eBay doesn’t allow me to see these prices. I’ve sent numerous 8kg boxes and that’s the price.
is there a way to set this in a new listing ?

When you click on the packet size box during the listing process you will get the various size options in a pop-up. Scroll down to the bottom of the pop-up list and you'll see a link that says:
"Looking for heavier or larger package options? Switch to custom postage."
Then you'll be able to set your own postage. Ideally use a browser on a laptop or desktop device.

Buyers only have to pay postage as listed.
You say in description that postage is different, this means nothing and is not enforceable.

Buyers only pay postage as stated on listing.
There is no way to make them pay more.
Custom postage is your only option if ebay allow it.
Either that or upgrade to business seller, then you can select your own postage.
