Simple delivery on cobining postage for offers

Hi 

I have had a customer  make 2 offers which I have accepted, they are small  items and the postage can be combined. However because of  not at all  'simple delivery'     the postage has already been paid for  and I cant refund the postage.  I also cant see anyway of putting the 2 items together and there being proof I have delivered them. 

Ebay say put both items in 1 box and take a photo but that is not proof and I cant advise the second item has been posted without  using the second postage slip, whcih ebay have told me not to prin

You either have to send them separately, or cancel/refund the transactions and relist on one listing with one postage for the buyer to buy and pay again.

Oh my!  Take a photo?  That has never been acceptable proof,  for any case for eBay.
