Simple delivery buyer wishes to collect

I have a item sold and the simple delivery has charged upon purchase for the buyer to pay. He lives local and messaged to ask to collect the item instead of waiting for delivery. How do I go about this if simple delivery has already been initiated by the purchase and a DHL collection of parcel arranged for 2 days away. Will the buyer be able to pick up and not use the delivery method? Will this be refunded to him or just lose out on the delivery fees? Is the simple delivery a unavoidable option to change once it's been assigned to the purchase of the item? Thank you

Simple delivery buyer wishes to collect

You can't change it now and you'd have no proof of collection.   It's best to cancel/refund the transaction with the buyer's agreement (via the dropdown menu arrow for the item on your orders list) and relist with collection only for the buyer to buy and pay again.

Also see "Proof of collection" on here:
