I am on my private account because if the item I send gets lost or damaged then eBay refund the buyer, I don't have the painful job of refunding the buyer and then trying to claim from Royal Mail/courier.
I just spent over 4 months trying to get a refund from RM, it should've been easy but took 7 complaints and losing the will to live to get compensation from them.

Many are happy that when an item is not received or arrived damaged through the postal system, eBay fully refund the buyer, and the seller gets to keep the payout for the item.
Seems to be the best aspect of Simple Delivery, no complaints with that part !

I don't have any issues with it.
QR code is simple to access and send to my phone.
Postage costs are reasonable for buyers.
Tracking is added automatically and the item is marked as sent when I drop it off at the Post Office.
I have opted to use Royal Mail only.
The difference to me is minimal.

They tried just giving me stamps. I've a reasonable reputation to keep on some consumer action groups where I advise, and was told by fellow responders there that I'd never get past that with them, even though according to their terms and conditions I should have a full refund for the item sold price. I do like a challenge though, so got there in the end. 😀
