Simple Delivery

Right, It looks like everyone knows already but as simple delivery is now compulsory I'll be finding a new platform to sell from. I'll leave up what I have for now but as soon as it drops off I won't re-list, unless they change it back of course.

I've been on here 25yrs as both a buyer & a seller & I don't like the "buyer protection" fee. That's very thin protection & from what? My kit hasn't been picking up views for a while now, even the new listings & that all started when they changed the algorithms & the simple postage? Cheapest large letter is £2.80 that's before adding a tiddly bit for the jiffy envelope (20p). Final straw.

I think customer services are tired of all the complaints too & the guy's computer had crashed so he couldn't talk to me anyway.
Turra  & thanks for all the fish!

Simple Delivery

You are correct,   Simple Delivery is mandatory for all Private sellers,  there's no turning back to how it used to be!

Unless they want it to change back & by that time loads of sellers will have gone that were selling the hard to find quirky stuff. Soooo not as much choice for buyers so they'll start looking for new places to buy.

Not forgetting the dodgy deals no one kicks off, like "rainbow" rose seeds. 1) Rose seeds don't necessarily grow true 2) No such plant.  Or . . . . "Moulin Rouge" sunflower. Some of those photos are "enhanced" and depict daliah flowers that have been colourised. By the time the buyer finds out it's 8 months later when the thing blooms! (No chance of negative feedback there) & please don't get me started on some of the "antiques"!
