Would someone help me please.
I am an elderly person who lives alone in a remote place with no neighbours and I’m worried about the simple delivery rules. I’ve been selling on EBay for over 20 years and all my parcels go by Large Letter post costing me £1.55. The value of my homemade items average £14. I’ve looked all over the help pages to try and find out how much it is going to cost for shipping after 15th April without success. It is a 20 mile round trip to my nearest village with a small post office in their shop. What am I to do if I have to send things by Evri and how do I find out where to take my little parcels. Or should I just stop selling which would be a pity as this is a hobby for me.
Thank you in advance

You're making lovely items in order to sell them so that makes you a business seller on ebay. If you register as such then no more Simple Delivery. Lucky you.

I’ve looked on the Evri website and the nearest drop off place would be a 40 mile round trip which would cost me more in fuel than I make in profit on my items

You shouldn't have to use Simple Delivery, or have the extra Buyer Protection fee added to your listings. You're trading on the wrong kind of eBay account - a private seller is one who is just selling off their own personal items such as clothes from their wardrobe, bits from their loft/garage etc.
To correctly register as a business seller simply go to your Personal Information in your account and to the right of Account Type, which will be showing as 'Individual' you'll see an Edit option.

This doesn't affect your feedback profile or any current listings, it merely upgrades your account so that you're compliant with current consumer and eBay policy.
If you're also selling your own items, just open another eBay account (you can have more than one).
