Simple Delivery

I am new to using Simple Delivery - Just two questions ;

This uses Royal Mail Tracked 48 which is for ' Large Letters ' my Items are small so are only classed as a ' Letter  ' will Royal Mail accept these envelopes or do I need to bulk out the envelope to make it a ' Large Letter '

Currently I reduce posting charges when a Customer purchases more than one Item,  how does Simple Delivery cope with this, do I have to send each Item individually and charge the Customer delivery charges for each Item.

Simple Delivery

If you're items are small, under 100g or under £10 they will be exempt from SD.  However,  there is a problem currently with those small items,  but the link below show's Rick's solution which can be adapted and used for you items.

Combining postage is still not possible under Simple Delivery.

If postage was purchased though Simple Delivery and you now post all the items together the buyer will receive a refund for the unused labels they paid for, might be worth sending them a message explaining this,  and that it may take up to / over 30 days for the refund to appear.

The best way forward would be to cancel all items, of course,  with the buyer's acceptance, and relisting them as one, so there's one  important tracking number, one postage price. Ensure any message to your buyer makes it very clear the reason why the items are being cancelled,  that they are to be relisted on eBay again,  for the buyer to buy, leave no room for doubt that this is Not an off eBay sale.

Some sellers are leaving a message on their listing,  for example.....   ' If you wish to buy multiple items,  please let me know before buying,  I will relist them as one listing so only one postage cost is charged, combining postage is not currently possible. '

All a faff I know ! 🙄

Simple Delivery

Thanks, regarding the multiple purchases it just seems too much hassle, this should of been thought of before implementing Simple Delivery, this does not bode well for the future.
