For over 20 years I have been an enthusiastic loyal supporter customer and seller on ebay.
I have no printer, and have no smart phone, and I am trying to find work-arounds, but none of the options or information seem to be completely clear. Will I be able to have the Royal Mail service (or whoever they force me to use) come to the door to print labels? Have they thought about how the elderly/disabled are going to be affected? Forcing 3 day dispatch will impact a lot of people, as will not allowing us to choose our own way. Seems like the core of people that brought them to such wealth are being kicked to the curb. I am so sad.

Royal Mail don’t come to your door to print labels. The posties don’t carry printers on themselves or have capability on their pda’s.
this question is an answer we are waiting for, our elderly neighbours are in the same boat as you.
their attitude right now is that they feel left out and that ebay is saying you are no longer welcome on our platform.

There really are not any workarounds.
Royal Mail will still collect but will not be able to print labels for you - really, you won't be buying the postage, Ebay will.
I have been selling for 20 years and am also an older person so I can empathise with your situation.
If you want to carry on selling on Ebay, you will have to adapt and either buy a printer (Argos prices start at about £40) or source one via Freecycle, younger relatives who have updated and still have the old one etc. There are costs associated with printing labels - paper and ink cartridges are not cheap.
Or, you could get a smartphone next time you change/upgrade your phone.
Not all smartphones are expensive and again, if you have grown up children, or grandchildren, they may have discarded items they would give to you.
The cost need not be prohibitive. I have an old Samsung that was relatively cheap and a £10 a month contract.
