'Simple' (note the quotation marks) Delivery is now the only option on my eBay Private Seller account, there is now no option to add 'Custom Postage'. I need to list two large items that are larger than the maximum dimensions of the largest Royal Mail parcel option with simple delivery, I can send with Evri, however I would need to get the parcels collected by the courier as I am unable to take them to a ParcelShop but I have read this is not an option with Evri.
I used to use UPS for large items like this, as they are good value for money and had good weight options and could collect and deliver next day. The Royal Mail maximum dimensions are too small, and Evri via simple delivery don't have a collection service, so how am I able to sell the items on eBay using simple delivery?
Can I contact support and get them to add Custom Postage back to my account? I am unable to use eBay to send these items, and don't want to use collection only as it will drastically reduce my chances of selling the said items, this wouldn't have been an issue at all if I could choose a custom courier.
It is not worth me creating a business account due to all the fees and I am not a business, I am just selling stuff which I no longer need as I have recently moved out of my parents house and I am clearing space and trying to recoup a bit of money.
I am really dissapointed with the new 'Simple' Delivery, there was never an issue with the old procedure, in fact it worked great.
What are my options here? Thanks in advance.
