Simple Delivery - DHL driver not showing up

Hi,

 

Sold an item to a buyer. Simple Delivery defaults to DHL as the courier because of the size and weight, and it defaulted to the courier picking the item up. This was due last Tuesday, it has been a week and at no point have they turned up.

 

All address details are correct. I have also informed the buyer.

 

I tried to call DHL eCommerce but the bot doesn't let you talk to a human. So sent them an email. I don't trust them however. Is there a way I can cancel the postage and re-book as a drop off? Or do I just have to wait and risk the buyer raising an INR?

 

Any advice appreciated.

You can't change the postage.    You'd have to cancel the transaction and then see if you can opt out of Simple Delivery to arrange your own postage.  

 

Contact the buyer and explain problem.   If they agree you cancel/refund via the dropdown actions menu arrow for the item on your orders list.    Then relist for the buyer to buy and pay again.    To opt out of SD follow the advice on here:

If the buyer paid for the original postage the cost will be refunded to them automatically in 30 days.
