Short Quantity on Blue Centre Feed Roll

I bought a 12 pack of blue centre feed roll from an eBay seller some months ago which was advertised as being 110m long. Suspicious of this, I recently checked a roll and found it was only 37m long. The other remaining rolls were all the same weight, 217g. I contacted the seller who denied that there was an issue and also fell back on the position that my purchase was out of the time limit for returns. I involved eBay and they of course determined that there was no issue. The seller still has the item listed on eBay as 110m rolls. Has anyone else experienced this? I am tempted to re-purchase and immediately submit a complaint, assuming I receive the same again, but I really have no confidence that the issue will be dealt with properly. Any suggestions please?

If you do what you suggest, Ebay will acknowledge your complaint but you won't know what action, if any, they take.

You will also have  to go to the bother of opening a return case and returning the items in order to get a refund.

If you bought from a UK business seller, you could report the seller to Trading Standards but they won't act on a single complaint.

Personally, I would just take my business to another seller.

I fear you are right but what really bugs me is that the seller is blatantly selling short and people are presumably still being misled. I am surprised that there haven't been numerous complaints about it.
