Shipping an item which was listed with collection only.

I have sold an item with collection only. The buyer and I have agreed that I will post the item.

Am I covered by ebay rules and am I doing the right thing?

If it's the rod you sold then best stick to collection and definitely get the buyer to bring or send you the 6 digit collection code with them so you get paid.The code can either be scanned or manually entered to show collected to ebay.

(If you did post then not all couriers accomadate the size of such rods,and you would have to send to the buyer s address given on ebay using a tracked service for buyer/seller protection) So you would have to cancel the transaction and relist.
