Setting up using my fingerprint to log-in

I want to speed up logging-on to eBay using my fingerprint pad on my laptop. the eBay instructions just state 'Turn on passkeys' but don't give the option to 'register' my fingerprint for use - where/how do find this. The auto chatbot 'help' is totally useless - it just keeps saying to create an account - I already have an account and have been using it for about 12 years!

If using windows 10 or 11,go to Settings > Accounts > Sign in Options > then choose the Hello Fingerprint option following the prompts from there.
