Setting Paypal as payment option when making an offer

Hi....I see an item for £300 Buy It Now/Make offer.

If I hit B.I.N. I get the option to use Paypal funds/Bank acct....or Paypal Credit with options.

The options typically `Pay in Three` or `Pay balance within 4 months, interest free`

If I make an offer I'm required to set a payment method should it be accepted.

I'm able to add Paypal as a payment option....that's Paypal funds/Bank only.

Paypal Credit doesn't appear to be a payment option when making offers even though it is an option if bought direct, at the asking price.

Am I missing something please?

unfortunately you are not missing anything.

If you make an offer PayPal credit won't be offered.

Thank you....I'll assume that there's some credit legislation that forbids it, as it's simple enough to ask the seller to make my own offer back to me, accept & pay via P/P Credit?
