Hi tree of knowledge

Just a question, is it just me or our people bidding and then just not paying. I have not done ebay for some time but in the past people seemed to pay straight away or within a few hours. Over the past few week I have sold approx 15 items and so far six buyers have just totally ignored payment requests.  I am waiting on four  at the moment which will probables relisted. Do they really get a payment strike by ebay, I have just updated my settings to not accept bids from non payers. Interestingly it appears to be a mix of people, some have only recently joined some have sold hundreds of items themselves. I don't really understand why people bid then refuse to acknowledge payment. Times have obviously changed since I last dabbled at downsizing my wardrobe. Interested in anybody's comments. Thank you.

It is up to you to give buyers an unpaid strike, which can be done after 4 days, on day 5 by cancelling the sale using reason buyer did not pay.

Ebay does not automatically give unpaid strikes, unless seller has this set up, but not a good idea, as reason for non payment could be an arrangement between buyer and seller.

Accidentally giving an unpaid strike, as far as I know cannot be cancelled.
