Selling to a brand new account

Hello, I'd like some help with an item I sold that will he shipped via the UK distribution center. My concern is it's been sold to an account that's been made today with 0 feedback so I'd like to know what protection I have vs a potential return scam when being shipped via the distribution center. It's a signed football shirt that has sold for £475 so I want to he careful.

You're protected against an eBay or PayPal item not received claim, or a not received chargeback if you have a tracking number showing delivery to the UK hub.

Is this to eBay's GSP shipping hub or a third party freight forwarder?

What kind of protection your buyer may still have depends on your answer.

It will be shipped to ebay's GSP.

Okay, so if the shirt arrives damaged then the GSP will pick up the bill, but if your buyer decides that it's not as described (doesn't match description or photo) then they may return it, and you'd need to find a way to arrange postage or the cost of postage and get it back.

Thank you for the info! So my main concern now (playing devil's advocate) is if they receive it, swap it out for a fake one then return it saying it's not as described. Is there any protection against that? Do the GSP open packages to check them to add a layer of protection for myself?

No, the GSP don't offer any kind of verification.
